We understand the impact which Covid-19 may be currently having on your business, and subsequently your commercial waste requirements.

We appreciate that in these uncertain times our customers may wish to place a temporary pause on their service, or make temporary amendments to their contract  i.e. number of containers or collections. We have agreed that in this instance a notice period will not be required and if you wish to place an immediate pause on your service you will not be charged.

For customers who pay via Direct Debit, the next payment due date will be 25 April 2020 for April collections unless you inform us that this service is not required. For those customers wishing to pause this service, we can suspend further payments until the service is operating again. When you are ready to restart the service, please let us know, providing a minimum of two weeks' notice where possible, so that we can ensure operational capacity.

We would like to assure you that our priority is to keep our employees and customers safe, while ensuring that all our customers receive a high quality service with minimum disruption. Please could you let us know by emailing trade.waste@swdevon.gov.uk  as soon as possible if you wish to change or pause your service, so that we can make the necessary administrative adjustments to your account. If we do not hear from you, we will presume  that your business is operating as usual and we will continue to collect your trade waste.
