Dartmouth Park and Ride Bus Service

The Dartmouth Park and Ride service offers a convenient way of travelling into the town centre.

The service runs from the car park just outside Dartmouth on the A3122, where it joins with the A379 by Lidl and Sainsbury's supermarkets, and takes passengers into Dartmouth Town Centre.

You can view a map and get directions using the link below:

Dartmouth Park and Ride Car Park

  • On dates when the service is running, an all day ticket costs £7.50 for cars and motorbikes, and £10.00 for motorhomes and coaches.
    • A reduced fee is chargeable for parking outside of the bus operating dates.
  • A ticket covers up to 6 people
  • You can buy tickets using RingGo or from the pay and display machines in the car park
  • Dogs are permitted on the park and ride bus
  • If you buy a ticket from the machine, you will need to display one part in your vehicle and show the other part to the driver.

If you are parking over more than one day, you will need to buy a new all-day ticket at 8 a.m. each day. You can use the RingGo service to do this without having to return to your vehicle every time.

Using RingGo

RingGo Park and Ride now lets you pay for your park and ride by phone. As with normal sessions, you pay by calling the number shown in the car park, then quote the location code (3480), and your credit or debit card details.

You can also use the RingGo app on your smartphone.

Once you have completed the call or your app purchase, you will be sent a text message confirming your payment. Show this message (which includes a special identification code) to the bus driver and you will be allowed onto the bus.

Further details on using the RingGo service across the South Hams can be found on our information page.
