Changes to Collection Days - October 2020

To help prepare for our new service in 2021, we are making changes to the routes our collection crews follow. As a result a large number of properties will have a change of collection day from 5 October 2020.

We are writing to all properties affected during the week commencing 14 September, but you can also check if you are affected using the button below:

In Spring 2021, we will be rolling out an improved recycling service allowing our residents to recycle more as part of their kerbside collection.

What will the New Service Look Like?

The new service will allow residents to recycle much more as part of their kerbside collection. As well as all the materials we currently collect, you'll be able to recycle things like:

  • Glass bottles and jars
  • A wider range of plastics
  • Batteries

As well as this, recycling and food waste will be collected every week. Refuse will be picked up every fortnight in your grey bin, and garden waste will be picked up every fortnight in your brown bin.
