You can use the following methods to pay your business rates.

Remember, whatever payment method you choose make sure you have your business rates account number to hand. You can find this on your most recent bill; it is 8 digits long and starts with a 9.


Pay by Direct Debit

To set up a new Direct Debit, or amend an existing one, use our online service. This is quick and easy - all you need is your Business Rate account number and your bank details.

Pay by Internet Banking, Standing Order or in person at a bank or building society

If you do not quote your business rate account number, your payment may not be correctly allocated.

A fee may be chargeable by your bank for each transaction and you should check this before you make your payment.
