Due to the current global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and Government advice, from Monday 23 March, Dartmouth Lower Ferry will switch to the following service times.

Monday to Saturday

  • First ferry departs Kingswear - 7.00 a.m.
  • First ferry departs Dartmouth - 7.10 a.m.
  • Last ferry departs Kingswear - 7.15 p.m.
  • Last ferry departs Dartmouth - 7.25 p.m.

Sunday

  • First ferry departs Kingswear - 8.00 a.m.
  • First ferry departs Dartmouth - 8.10 a.m.
  • Last ferry departs Kingswear - 7.15 p.m.
  • Last ferry departs Dartmouth - 7.25 p.m.

The Ferry team are making some small changes to protect staff, and customers,­ as follows:

  • They are accepting card payments and frequent traveller cards through vehicle's closed window
  • They are temporarily stopping cash payments.

They will be kept in service as it is an essential means of transport. It will however, close upon any Government instruction.

Please bear in mind they have a limited number of skippers and due to any self-isolation this service may be suspended at short notice.

Please consider the health and safety of their staff and fellow passengers and only use the service for essential travel.
