For Your Information

At a meeting of the South Hams Executive on 16 September Councillors received an update on the waste and recycling situation in South Hams and have reluctantly agreed to keep the suspension of garden waste in place. The Executive will review the situation when they meet again on 14 October.

Local Housing Allowance Rates

Local Housing Allowance is a way of working out the maximum benefit that might be paid for tenants renting accommodation from a private Landlord.

It only applies to those making claims for Housing Benefit, or those already claiming who move to privately rented accommodation, on or after 7 April 2008.

The tables below shows the Local Housing Allowance rates for the South Hams area.

The Broad Rental Market Area you live in is determined by your postcode - in the South Hams it will be either Devon South or Plymouth.
