Grounds Maintenance is a dedicated service, currently numbering 11 (and growing) qualified and experienced horticultualists (gardeners) and arboriculturalists (tree surgeons), working effectively in teams across the South Hams District.

The scope of our services extends to planning, design and planting of formal gardens, pruning, grass cutting and lawn maintenance, hedging, certificated weed treatment, and specialised sports field maintenance.  We are able to provide the full range of tree maintenance activities from inspection to remediation programmes. 

We are looking for a person with formal training in arboriculture and/or relevant experience. CS 30 and 31 and CS 38 and 39 or equivalent(s) are essential requirements as is a good knowledge of garden plants, weeds, pests, diseases and disorders and beneficial organisms.
