Project to install electric car charge points across Devon starts this month
The charge points will be installed in key carparks in Devon's largest communities. These include Exeter, Barnstaple, Sidmouth, Exmouth, Honiton, Seaton, South Molton, Ilfracombe, Totnes, Ivybridge, Kingsbridge, Tavistock, Okehampton, Dartmouth, Salcombe, Dawlish, Teignmouth and Newton Abbot.

Empty homes can be a magnet for crime and vandalism and the Council wants to bring vitally needed homes back into use. They are asking residents to report homes in their area that they know have been left unoccupied for a long period of time.
Thumbs Up from Sherford Residents
A recent survey of 230 Sherford households has now closed and the results are in. The joint councils and Consortium of house builders involved in the delivery of the town decided to conduct Sherford's first community survey to better understand who is living in the town, their needs and their views on community life.
South Hams Declares Climate Change and Biodiversity Emergency
South Hams District Council held a Council meeting on Thursday 25 July, with councillors unanimously supporting a motion to declare both a Climate Change and a Biodiversity Emergency.
At a meeting of the South Hams Executive this week, councillors agreed a number of actions, with practical steps, which will help the Council play an active part in trying to avert Climate Change.
