I was first elected as Ward Councillor for Ermington & Ugborough in May 2015, previously serving as the Erme Valley Ward Councillor from May 2011.  I have also been an Ugborough Parish Councillor for twenty years and was Chairman for eleven years up to 2010.

I was brought up in Mid Devon and after leaving school, I left Devon for twenty years before returning to the wonderful South Hams.  I am interested in people, especially with regard to people in village communities.  In addition to village life, I enjoy motor sport, and road rallying in particular.

I started out in electrical engineering and changed horses to management accounting.  I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and have worked at all levels in a variety of public and private sector organisations.
