Temporary Event Notice (TEN)

If you would like to offer licensable activities on no more than 15 occasions per year, you may do so under the authority of a Temporary Event Notice (TEN).

Before you apply

  • You must be 18 or over to apply for a TEN
  • You should apply for a Temporary Events Notice 10 working days before an event. This is a Standard TEN
  • You can apply between 5 and 9 working days before an event, however, if an objection is received, the TEN will automatically be refused.

Serving copies of your TEN to the relevant Authorities

Once completed, please ensure that at least one copy of the Temporary Event Notice is sent to:

Will Tacit Consent Apply?

Yes. This means that you will be able to act as though your application is granted if you don't hear from us by the end of the target completion period.
