Planning Obligations

The [pdf icon] Planning Obligations Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) sets out the Council's approved policy framework for processing and securing planning obligations.  The draft Planning Obligations SPD was available for comment over a six week period which ran from 29th August to 4pm on 10th October 2008.
 

Sustainability Appraisal

The Planning Obligations SPD has been subject to a Sustainability Appraisal (SA), incorporating Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) during it's preparation. A [pdf icon] Sustainability Appraisal Report of the Planning Obligations SPD: (August 2008), which sets out the findings of the SA, accompanies the Planning Obligations SPD.

The Planning Obligations SPD, is also available for public inspection at the Council offices, Follaton House, Totnes on Monday - Thursday 09:00 - 17:00 and Friday 09:00 - 16:30 and at the public libraries within the district.
