Salcombe Harbour Authority is responsible for the management of the estuary, the local nature reserve, quays, landings and slipways on behalf of South Hams District Council.
The authority is also responsible for collecting harbour dues from resident and visiting boats, allocation and maintenance of moorings and pontoons, licensing of boats and boatmen and the winter storage of boats.
