In November 2001 the Council agreed a policy which is in place to provide an effective service to all users and support the Councils wider strategy across the South Hams. Policy is created in conjunction with the independent service reviews of the car parks department and in consultation with the public and Town and Parish Councils and Devon County Council.
In 2002 we also asked a group of 1000 local residents to give us feedback on our service and the results can been seen in this section. In 2004 we further consulted residents and businesses on changes in our car park policy.
