South Hams District Council offers collections of clinical waste to residents who require this service. The service is free of charge and people using the collection service re provided with specially marked yellow sacks and/or a sharps box, depending on the type of waste that needs to be disposed of.
The frequency of collection is variable, to suit the needs of the households needing the collection, but the collection day is on a pecified day throughout the district.
The clinical waste that we collect is incinerated.
