One of the key priorities to come out of South Hams District Council’s review of its homelessness strategy was the need to engage with other agencies and stakeholders. It was identified that this could be best achieved by establishing a forum consisting of partners and service users to work with the Council to deliver the objectives of the homelessness strategy. To this end, the inaugural meeting of the homelessness forum took place on 10 March 2009 and regular meetings are held at Follaton House in Totnes.
