Your bins and sacks must be at the boundary of your property by 7am for collection that day, unless you have arranged an assisted collection from an agreed place on your property. Our crew might not come at the same time each week, so please put your bin out in time to ensure your waste is collected.
You should place your recycling sacks next to your brown bin, not inside it, as our collection crew will not be able to see them. If you do not have wheeled bins your sacks should be placed at the boundary of your property next to your black sacks, where our crew will see them.
If your bin has not been emptied by 4pm on collection day please contact us. There are many reasons why this may have happened. It might be that the crew found a problem with the bin or its contents. In this case we will leave a note to explain the problem. If we seem to have missed your bin or recycling sack, through no fault of your own, please call the Recycling Helpline and we will collect within two working days of your call.
