South Hams District Council has a number of offices promoting responsible dog ownership and applying relevant legislation where necessary.
All complaints regarding dogs are dealt with,
- legislation is enforced, except dangerous dogs and livestock worrying,
- free advice given,
- home visits made,
- liaison with other services and animal charities.
