Development Policies DPD Submission Stage

The Development Policies DPD will be an important document in the South Hams Local Development Framework (LDF). It contains a suite of policies to guide decisions on planning applications and covers the whole of South Hams (outside of Dartmoor National Park).

Following a six week consultation (22 May to 3 July 2009) on the Publication Stage of the DPD, suggested changes to the document and representations received on the Publication Stage were Submitted to the Secretary of State on 13 November 2009 for Examination.

This schedule has been revised from the version which appeared on the Council website November 2009. It corrects errors in paragraph numbering, with all paragraph numbers now relating to the Publication Stage of the Development Policies DPD.  The ‘proposed change’ column has also been amended to make it clearer precisely what text is to be deleted and where additional text is suggested. The content of the changes has not altered.
