Alternatively, you can complete the Permitted Development enquiry form.  Your request should be accompanied with a fee of £40.00, cheques should be made payable to South Hams District Council.  When your form and payment has been received we will acknowledge and the request will be passed to an appropriate Officer for response.

As well as planning permission, you may need building regulations approval, so check on this before you start work. In many cases, planning permission may not be required, but building regulation approval could be.
