In most cases a person shall be disregarded for Council Tax purposes if he is a diplomat. A diplomat would include the following:

• a diplomat
• a person who benefits from diplomatic immunity
• a specified member of their household

However the person must not be:

• a British Citizen
• a British Subject
• a British protected person
• a permanent UK resident
