The Council strives to provide facilities that are open 24 hours.
At present most of the sites are open 24 hours. Regretfully, a few sites have to be closed every night due to persistent anti-social behaviour.
The majority of public toilets in the South Hams have access for disabled people 24 hours a day. The only facility requiring a RADAR key is the disabled toilet at Totnes, Coronation Road, where we are having a RADAR lock installed. RADAR keys will be available from Totnes Tourist Information Centre, Coronation Road or from the South Hams District Council offices at Follaton House, Plymouth Road, Totnes and will cost £4.30 each.
Note: the Ferry Steps toilets (East Portlemouth) will now close annually between October and March. |
