The citizens’ panel is regularly refreshed to allow new members to take part and to allow long-standing members to stand down. The last refreshment exercise took place in autumn 2005. Because Sounding Board members are expecting to be consulted, response rates to surveys are very high, typically 60%-80%.

Sounding Board is therefore an excellent way of getting a snapshot of the views of the district. We currently issue 2 Sounding Board surveys per year.
