The Harbour Authority runs a yacht taxi service all year round. You can contact the taxi by:

• Telephoning in advance on 01548 843791
• Calling personally at the Harbour Office
• Calling “Salcombe Harbour Taxi” on VHF Channel 12
• Telephone the Taxi mobile 07807 643879

State clearly the yacht name, buoy number / location and number of passengers. Please keep radio traffic to a minimum and always call the taxi direct.

January 2–March 20	0900, 1100, 1400, 1600 (not Saturdays and Sundays )*
March 21 - March 24	08:30 - 22:00
March 25 - May 1	0900, 1100, 1400, 1600 (not Saturdays and Sundays )*
May 2–August 31	0800–2300
September 1 - 14	0800–2200
September 14 - December 23	0900, 1100, 1400, 1600 (not Saturdays and Sundays )*

There will be no normal service on December 24 until January 2 2009

Off Town	£1.50 or Discounted Book of 20-£20.00
Southpool and ‘The Bag’	£2.00 or Discounted Book of 20-£30.00
Above Tosnos Point	£3.00 or Discounted Book of 20-£40.00

Outside normal hours: minimum charge £20.00 (one way only).

No service seaward of Blackstone Rocks.

N.B. The Harbourmaster reserves the right to alter the above schedule of normal hours when exceptional or operational circumstances apply, such as during severe weather.
