Within Totnes, a consultation exercise has been carried out to ensure that the funding allocations are used in a way that will provide the greatest benefits for the community, including residents, those living in the wider area and visitors to the town.
South Hams District Council and Totnes Town Council are working closely together on a range of public space projects that are now underway.
South Hams District Council is also liaising with Dartington, Halwell & Moreleigh, Harberton, Marldon, Staverton and Stoke Gabriel Parish Councils to ensure that the allocations made provide the greatest benefits for the community. Where appropriate, there may be opportunities to explore additional funding to further improve facilities.
