Trees are an important part of the South Hams landscape and grace the District’s towns, villages and countryside.  It is vital that we protect those trees we have and plant more trees for the future.  

Owners of trees also need to be aware of their responsibilities with regard to trees and take reasonable measures to ensure that the trees they own are in a safe condition.
