From new pathways to new woodlands, South Hams communities have, for a long time, had a strong tradition in undertaking local environmental projects.

These usually require a combination of local enthusiasm and external funding. Over the years, South Hams District Council has worked with dozens of communities to support such projects and to help secure external funding.
