Berthing Information

Visitors' moorings are available between the Marine Hotel and the fuel barge. Deep water moorings are reserved for sea going vessels entering from a seawards direction. Visitors' buoys are marked with a ‘V’ and the maximum length of vessel. A large visitors' pontoon is available in ‘The Bag’ to the north west of Scoble Point. Yachts are directed not to anchor in the fairway, near to ferry landings or cable crossings. The recommended anchorages are off Smalls Cove (avoiding the yacht club race start line when appropriate) and to the south west of Ditch End and at the entrance to Frogmore Creek.

Assistance with mooring can be obtained from launches marked ‘Harbourmaster’, these can be contacted on VHF Channel 14.
