The Harbour Authority runs a yacht taxi service all year round. You can contact the taxi by:
- Telephoning in advance on 01548 843791
- Calling personally at the Harbour Office
- Calling “Salcombe Harbour Taxi” on VHF Channel 12
- Telephone the Taxi mobile 07807 643879
State clearly the yacht name, buoy number / location and number of passengers. Please keep radio traffic to a minimum and always call the taxi direct.

Please ensure you are issued with and retain a ticket. During busy periods, staff will endeavour to collect passengers as soon as possible. Out of season, October through April, pre-booking of your Taxi will save you waiting time. |

As a service to the public, the Yacht Taxi Service will run to and from East Portlemouth on the hour after the East Portlemouth Ferry has finished, providing bookings have been made in advance for trips from the East Portlemouth side. The service to East Portlemouth is weather dependent and may be cancelled without notice if the weather conditions deteriorate.
N.B. The Harbourmaster reserves the right to alter the above schedule of normal hours when exceptional or operational circumstances apply, such as during severe weather.
