Our overall role is to safeguard the estuary for the enjoyment of all and to manage and control activities within the estuary in a safe and effective manner. This role varies enormously during the summer and winter seasons :

The Harbourmaster has nine full-time staff who are complimented by ten seasonal staff during the busy summer period.
