PETITION: Senior Bus Passes. cannot be used from Hope Cove and Galmpton on the only morning bus because it leaves the village fifteen minutes before the allowable time.  The residents therefore ask the South Hams District Council to take the necessary action to allow senior residents the facility to board this bus (Tally Ho! Bus Company) using their passes.

Having received the response from the Council, Mr Higgs subsequently invoked a review by the Council's Scrutiny Group as he did not feel that his petition had been dealt with to his satisfaction.  The matter was therefore considered by the Scrutiny Group at its meeting held on 16 September 2010 and it was concluded by the Scrutiny Group that the steps taken by the Council in response to the petition were adequate.
