What have you been saying?
You have told us in public meetings that the Boundary Committee’s proposals are not the answer for Devon as a whole and you want to retain things as they are, without unnecessary and avoidable cost.
The Boundary Committee’s website shows the majority of people who have responded from across Devon are not in favour of a large unitary authority.
An analysis by North Devon District Council indicates the Boundary Committees website contains nearly 5,500 submissions from individuals, families, and various organisations. The vast majority of responses are against the two options in the draft proposal report. This is shown in the pie chart (above right).
