Will change be better for your community?

The important issues for you to consider when commenting on the proposals for a giant Devon Unitary are:

• the size, both area and population, of the proposed new authority
• how local views will be represented and where decisions will be made
• how much a new authority might really cost to set-up and run
• the risks involved in undertaking such a major change in terms of disruption to your services
• is there a better solution than a single massive council?
