South Hams District Council operates pannier markets in three towns: Ivybridge, Kingsbridge, and Totnes (see below).

Casual stall holders can attend and see if there is a space for them. They will need to be there around 7am when the markets are setting up.

The rental charge is from £13.50 for a 6 foot space. No tables or stalls are provided, just the space.

A market inspector will allocate a space and receive the rent.

Stall holders will need to have their own public liability insurance cover.

	In Ivybridge the market is held in Glanvills Mill car park Leonard’s Road, PL21 0RU and takes place all year round on Thursdays.
	In Kingsbridge the market is held in the Quay House square, Embankment, TQ7 1HN on Tuesdays all year and Thursdays between April and December.
	The market in Totnes operates in the Civic Hall square, High Street,  TQ9 5SF on Fridays and Saturdays all year.
