The collection and disposal of refuse generated by businesses is not included in the Business Rates. South Hams District Council is a registered waste carrier and provides a controlled trade waste service . We currently operate 2 types of collection for trade waste:
- Wheeled Bins
- Green Plastic sacks
We provide a prompt and efficient service with regular scheduled collections, all at competitive rates.
South Hams District Council actively promotes the objective of waste minimisation and therefore suggests reduction and re-use of materials where possible prior to disposal.
