The Totnes/Dartington Development Plan Document (DPD) sets out the future planning framework for Totnes/Dartington to 2016. It includes site specific allocations for new housing, employment and mixed development. The Preferred Options document was available for comment over a six week period from 19 October to Friday 30 November 2007. In October 2004 the Council published the Issues, Options and Preferred Options document as the first part in the South Hams Local Development Framework (LDF) process. This included a section on Totnes and Dartington. The Preferred Options document builds on that earlier work and the public response to it.
