Publication and Submission

Site Allocations Development Plan Documents (DPDs) for Dartmouth, Ivybridge, Kingsbridge, Totnes and the Rural Areas were published on 30 April for public consultation until Friday 2 July 2010.

The Council submitted these DPDs, associated documents and representations received during the consultation period to the Secretary of State to commence the Examination process. The purpose of the Examination was for an independent Inspector to assess whether the DPDs were "sound". The Examination public hearings commenced on Tuesday 2nd November 2010 at 10am at South Hams District Council offices, Follaton House, Plymouth Road, Totnes, TQ9 5NE.
