A Sustainability Threshold Assessment (STA) is a decision aiding tool developed by the Council to enable systematic and comparative assessment of possible development sites.  The STA considers the relative sustainability of potential sites using a criteria-based approach.  More details can be found in the STA of Development Site Options report.  The results of the STA are presented in matrices and maps for the following areas:

• Dartmouth; maps
• Ivybridge; maps
• Kingsbridge; maps
• Totnes; maps ; and
• the Rural Areas; maps
