The Adopted Supplementary Planning Document on Open Space, Sport and Recreation was adopted by the Council on 15 June 2006; it sets out the Council’s requirements for Open Space, Sport and Recreation provision in relation to new development.

Sustainability Appraisal

The Adopted Open Space, Sport and Recreation SPD was subject to a Sustainability Appraisal (SA), incorporating Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA), at several stages during its preparation..A Sustainability Appraisal Report of the Adopted Supplementary Planning Document on Open Space, Sport and Recreation accompanies the adopted SPD and sets out the findings of the SA.
