Contaminated Land

From April 2008, all planning applications must use the new national 1App planning application form.  The issue of contaminated or potentially contaminated land is covered in a question on Existing Use within the 1APP forms.

Advice Note 2 provides technical guidance for investigating, assessing and remediating contaminated land and provides clear guidance as to what South Hams Distric Council expects to see from a Phase 1 report, Phase 2 Site Investigation, Phase 3 Remediation Statement and Phase 4 Verification Report.
