Environment is one of the key economic drivers of the South West of England Regional Economic Strategy.

The environment is a highly valuable capital asset that should be managed intelligently for long-term economic benefit.  It's significance as a driver encompasses a number of aspects relating to the locational strengths of the South West, as well as the potential economic benefits that can result from environmental activity.

Environmental Integration in Economic Development Conference
