Arts Council England would also like to announce the arrival of a sister award to Artsmark – the young people’s Arts Award.  The Arts Award is geared towards young people in secondary schools and colleges, and recognises a young person’s individual achievement in the arts and arts leadership.

Young people can do an Arts Award in any art form, and follow the programme in and out of school.  It is a flexible and accessible programme, where each young person sets their own creative challenges and projects – so it appeals to young people with very different interests and starting points.  The award is a national qualification awarded by Trinity Guildhall, and is available at Bronze, Silver and Gold – levels 1, 2 and 3 on the National Qualifications Framework.
