Register to vote at GOV.UK - Register to vote. You will need your National Insurance number and date of birth in order to register.

If you are not registered to vote, you will need to register by Monday 22 May 2017 to vote at the general election.

If you are already registered to vote or applied to register to vote before the deadline for the 4 May local elections, you do not need to re-register to vote.

Apply for a postal or proxy vote

To apply to vote by proxy please complete and return a Icon for pdf Proxy Vote Application Form [180.46KB]. The last day to apply for a proxy vote is 5 p.m. Wednesday 31 May 2017.
