1. Minutes - to approve as a correct record and authorise the Chairman to sign the minutes of the meeting of the Committee held on 9 September 2008.
2. Urgent Business - brought forward at the discretion of the Chairman.
3. Division of Agenda - to consider whether the discussion of any item of business is likely to lead to the disclosure of exempt information.
4. Declarations of Interest - Members are invited to declare any personal or prejudicial interests, including the nature and extent of such interests, they may have in any items to be considered at this meeting.
5. Review of New Procedures for Standards Investigations – to consider a report which informs Members of the Committee of the review of the new procedures conducted at the request of the Scrutiny Group and the findings from that Group;
6. Exclusion of Public and Press - to consider the following resolution to exclude the public and press:-
“That in accordance with Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public and press be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following item of business as the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 7c of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Act is involved”.
7. Report of Investigating Officer: Complaint SH04/170708 – to consider an exempt report of the investigating officer into an allegation that a Member has breached the Code of Conduct.
