1.         Minutes - to approve as a correct record and authorise the Chairman to sign the minutes of the meeting of the Panel held on 18 March 2004 (as previously circulated).

 

2.         Urgent Business - brought forward at the discretion of the Chairman.

 

3.         Division of Agenda - to consider whether the discussion of any item of business is likely to lead to the disclosure of exempt information.

 

4.         Declarations of Interest - Members are invited to declare any personal or prejudicial interests, including the nature and extent of such               interests, they may have in any items to be considered at this meeting.


5.         Strategic Personnel Issues – this report informs Members of a number of major strategic personnel matters that will require detailed                consideration by the Council over the next two to three years (Pages 1 to 5).

6.         Joint Staff Consultative Forum: Revised Constitution – to consider a report that reviews the constitution of the Forum and its                membership arrangements (Pages 6 to 11).

7.         Exclusion of Public and Press - to consider the following resolution to exclude the public and press:-

 

“That in accordance with Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public and press be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following item of business as the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Act is involved”.

 

8.          Personnel Implications Following the Review of the Heads of Service Tier (to follow).

    

9.          Revenue and Benefits Service: Review of Client Function (to follow).

 

10.        Closure of South Dartmoor Tourist Information Centre (TIC) (to follow).
