5. Hackney Carriages – Revised Table of Fares for 2010/11 – To consider a report that seeks Members approval to change the Table of Fares for Hackney Carriages for 2010/11;
6. Gambling Act 2005 – Statement of Principles – To consider a report which seeks Members approval of the proposed triennial ‘Statement of Licensing Principles’ for the period 2010 – 2013 (NOTE: The appendices have only been circulated to the Committee and are available on request by contact Member Support Services on 01803 861273);
7. Application for a Fire Engine as a Private Hire Vehicle – To consider a report as to whether a decommissioned and converted Volvo Fire Engine is a suitable vehicle to licence as a Private Hire Vehicle;
8. Exclusion of the public and press - to consider the following resolution to exclude the public and press:-
“That in accordance with Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public and press be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following items of business as the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Act is involved”;
9. To determine whether an applicant for a Hackney Carriage Drivers Licence is a ‘fit and proper’ person to hold such a licence – To consider a report to determine whether an applicant is a ‘fit and proper’ person to hold a Hackney Carriage Drivers Licence.
