1.         Minutes - to approve as a correct record and authorise the Chairman to sign the minutes of the meeting of the Executive held on 9 November 2006 (as previously circulated).  

2.         Members in Attendance.  

3.         Urgent Business - brought forward at the discretion of the Chairman.  

4.         Division of Agenda - to consider whether the discussion of any item of business is likely to lead to the disclosure of exempt information.

5.         Declarations of Interest - Members are invited to declare any personal or prejudicial interests, including the nature and extent of such interests, they may have in any items to be considered at this meeting.  

6.         Public Question Time - a period of up to 15 minutes is available to deal with questions submitted to the Council in accordance with the Executive Procedure Rules.             

7.         Draft Budget Proposals 2007/08 – to consider a report which updates Members on the budget position and provides a framework for consultation with the Scrutiny and Policy Development Groups.  Members are requested to retain their copies of these papers for consideration at the respective budget meetings of the Scrutiny and Policy Development Groups.

8.         Admirals Court (Phase 3) Employment Units, Dartmouth – to consider a report which seeks to obtain agreement to the release of an additional £110,000 from capital reserves to finance the increased cost of the scheme, making a revised Council contribution of £380,000 to the total project costs.  

9.         Langage Energy Park – Resolution to Make a Compulsory Purchase Order – to consider a report which seeks the promotion of a Compulsory Purchase Order to acquire land to the east of Langage Employment Estate comprising approximately 11 hectares.

10.       Review of the Council’s Data Protection Policy – to consider a report which seeks to update the Data Protection Policy for the Council and to designate roles to ensure that compliance with the Data Protection Act can be achieved.  

11.       Reports of Other Bodies – To receive, and as may be necessary to approve, the minutes and any recommendations of the under-mentioned body:-  

(a)   Community Policy Development Group: 9 November 2006  

(b)   Development Planning Steering Group: 27 November 2006 

(c)   Business Board (Operations Team): 28 November 2006

12.       Sherford Update – to consider a report which provides an update on the Sherford proposals (report to follow).                        

13.       Exclusion of Public and Press - to consider the following resolution to exclude the public and press:-                                                                                                 

“That in accordance with Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public and press be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following item of business as the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in the paragraph(s) 3  of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Act is involved.  

14.       Provision of Temporary Accommodation for the Homeless – to consider an exempt report which advises of an opportunity to purchase a unit of temporary accommodation for the homeless.
