AGENDA - Development Control Committee
Wednesday 12 April 2006 at 2:00 pm in the Council Chamber


1.         Minutes - to approve as a correct record and authorise the Chairman to sign the minutes of the meeting of the Committee held on 15 March 2006.

2.         Urgent Business - brought forward at the discretion of the Chairman.

 3.        Division of Agenda - to consider whether the discussion of any item of business is likely to lead to the disclosure of exempt information.

4.         Declarations of Interest - Members are invited to declare any personal or prejudicial interests, including the nature and extent of such interests, they may have in any items to be considered at this meeting.  

5.         Public Participation - The Chairman to advise the Committee on any requests received from members of the public to address the meeting.  

6.         Site Inspections:-  

(a)   to appoint the Group for site inspections to be held on Monday, 24 April 2006

(b)    to receive reports of the site inspections held on Monday, 27 March 2006  

            (i)   35/2362/05/F – Erection of dwelling with associated parking – land between 5 Gees Lane and 10 The Orchard, Modbury 

            (ii)  56/0212/06/F – Demolition of existing buildings and erection of four houses and three flats including new access road – Redworth Cottage, Ashburton Road, Totnes TQ9 5JL

            (iii) 55/0080/06/RM – Reserved Matters application for the erection of a dwelling and garage – Plot 6, Leonards Close, The Mead, Thurlestone, Kingsbridge TQ7 3LE    

7.         Planning Applications - Members are requested to raise any queries they may have with the Head of Planning and Building Control before the meeting.agenda

8.         Local Planning Authority Consultation – Proposed Fishacre – Lynham National Gas Pipeline, Environmental Statements – to consider a report which advises Members of the proposed works and to give an opportunity for the Local Planning Authority to make representations on the Environmental Statement.

 

Members of the public may wish to note that the Council's meeting rooms

are accessible by wheelchairs and have a loop induction hearing system

The Planning and Building Control Manager’s recommendations include reference to conditions and reasons for refusal by code.  A copy of the standard conditions and reasons for refusal is available for inspection by members of the public outside the Council Chamber.
