1. Minutes – to approve as a correct record and authorise the Chairman to sign the minutes of the meeting of the Council held on 15 July 2010.
2. Declarations of Interest – Members are invited to declare any personal or prejudicial interests, including the nature and extent of such interests, they may have in any items to be considered at this meeting.
3. Exempt Information – to consider whether the consideration of any item of business would be likely to disclose exempt information and if so the category of such exempt information;
4. Appointment of the Shared Chief Executive – to consider a report which seeks agreement to the appointment of the recommended new Shared Chief Executive of West Devon Borough Council and South Hams District Council.
(NOTE: although the above Shared Services Joint Steering Group report is an open report, the meeting will move into exempt session to consider the identity of the candidate and the offer. The press and public are advised that an announcement on the outcome of the process will be made by Friday, 30 July 2010 at the very latest, in order to allow for staff at both authorities to be informed.)
